Our proofreaders read every translated document carefully – even very large documents – so that the final version is of the highest quality and accuracy and corresponds with language standards. On the other hand, we will never translate a document mechanically. We gain a feeling for the context and target language stylistics and we focus on the overall meaning of the text rather than simply translate individual words.
To ensure such a high quality of translation we apply a “four-eye” system. This means that before we send any document to our client, two people will check the translated document: the translator and then the proofreader (who reviews grammar, stylistics, wording, terminology and the content equivalence with the original document). Proofreaders are well-educated language professionals who have lived and studied in a foreign language country. Our proofreaders can distinguish the slight differences in content that are often hidden in legal and economic texts. They continually study to make sure their expertise in a given language reflects current developments in the language.
