FAQ

Order, assignment, delivery

We are pleased to offer a free-of-charge calculation of our services upon request.

You can order our services by phone, e-mail, fax, post, or, most efficiently, via our order form on this page. Your order must include your invoice data (name and company address, registered office, ID number, tax ID number/VAT ID number, your name), an approximate document size in pages or an ordered service description and deadline. If you want us to list specific data in the invoice, please indicate it explicitly in your order form. Our regular clients do not need to prepare an individual order for every service, they can just send us a short e-mail.

Documents for translation can be delivered to us by e-mail, fax or post; we can collect them and send them back via courier or personally. Larger documents can be, upon mutual agreement, uploaded to our ftp-server or you can send them to us on CD.

Similarly, we can deliver documents after translation and proofreading by the methods mentioned above; however, the most common and the quickest way is by e-mail. After the translation delivery, you will receive a job evaluation stating: the text volume expressed in standard pages, the price per standard page and a final cost for the whole document. This final cost is then indicated in the invoice, which is usually due up to 10 days after its issue.

How long does the translation take?

It is of vital importance for us to deliver the translated document within the deadline stated by our client. In case of large text volumes we work within the physical limitations of our translators and proofreaders, by dividing the translation among several translators. If a large text volume is to be translated and edited in a very short time, we must remunerate our translators with additional payment for their efforts. In this case, the customer should consider that the price for translation will reflect this.

We have set approximate text volumes that can be translated without any extra charge for express service. This limit is approximately 10 standard pages per day, but bear in mind that this is only an estimate. The actual charge is set individually, depending on the type of document, its format, subject matter, volume, etc.

In case of 24-hour translations, an express charge is calculated, as we appreciate our translators’ flexibility and readiness to put aside other translations and start working on the assigned document.

What languages do we translate?

Our clients mostly order language combinations of Slovak with English, German, French and Italian.

However, we have also translated such combinations as Latvian-Slovak, Czech-Lithuanian, Chinese-English, Finnish-Slovak, German-Serbian, Italian-Estonian, Polish-Latvian, Italian-Hungarian, and others. Our translators are professionals in their field of translation and have proven themselves through long-term cooperation. That is why we can ensure a high quality of translations, even in less common language combinations.

We are open to providing for translations of any language combination, even though it depends on finding a specific translator. Translations from and into more "exotic" languages are generally more expensive than common translations.

How do we guarantee the confidentiality of translated documents?

One of the key issues for Agentúra ONLINE is to ensure high confidentiality of our clients’ information in translated documents. Translating and interpreting is a business area that stands or falls on customer trust and we cannot afford to lose this trust. That is why we place such high emphasis on data protection.

Each of our translators and proofreaders is explicitly instructed that all material assigned for translation or interpreting is confidential and cannot be disclosed to anyone. Each of our translators has signed a Secrecy Agreement in which they have committed to follow these rules. If our clients wish, we, as a company, can sign a Secrecy Agreement with them, in which we bind ourselves to maintain the confidentiality of their documents.

In case a client informs us of highly sensitive data in a document, we proceed with the highest caution when sending them to our translators - we save it using a password. After the documents are delivered to the client, we archive them for a certain period of time and then they are entirely deleted from our computers so that they cannot be improperly used.
